Last week I had the chance to participate in the work camp in the regional park in Kurtuvenai, organized by EVS - and other German volunteer friends.Together, we made a lot of useful things: cleaned the shores of Lake Bijotė as well as build new places for fire, build bridge cross wetland, landscaped nature school Jutmalke..
I was shocked how much rubbish we found and how stupid and reckless people destroy these beautiful landscapes.
But not just during working we had a lot of fun.. We played a lot of volleyball, cooked together, made barbecues and so on. The whole atmosphere in the park and camping place was wonderful. I felt myself so relaxed, happy and totally satisfied. Since a long time I had not the feeling that I should already be on the next place again and I could really enjoy every second there.
The big surprise and my personal highlight was the horse riding!! It was awesome! :)
I really enjoy my stay in Kurtuvenai, and would like to say thank you to the other volunteers as well as to the organizers for the nice time.
